First Rogers Bop Kit 12 14 18 Cleveland Era

Loading...

I ended up finding this at my "hometown" drum shop. I used to attend clinics at Resurrection Drums years ago. Anyway it was great dealing with store owner and he personally packed the kit. It was tempting to just cash and carry but doing so in Florida meant paying taxes vs shipping it to me. Worked for the best as I was on holiday when I bought it.

Funny enough the reso side head was from a long since closed music store in Boca Raton Florida.

That looks like it will be a great sounding drum set. Were the drums originally wrapped in New England White?

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

That kit was for sale a while back and got pulled for some reason. Good to know you got it Manny. It looks sharp in white and would have been a perfect color for a summer gig down in Florida. No overheating!

Not sure why it was pulled. It's a great kit and something not seen everyday. I should say Cleveland era bop kits are not so common.
