It's fine with me.
Cool. It's on. Bought the shell today!
Can anyone tell me the setback distance from the leading edge of the drumshell to the center of the top screw on a Zephyr lug bass drum?
Best,
Aaron
fish - I just bought one, but it's in transit! If it gets here before anybody responds to your question, I'll measure it up for you.
Congrats on finding the shell! I know you've been looking for awhile.

Leedy rules!
Thanks. Really psyched for this one.
The Spartan will be stripped, filled, redrilled and paired with some WFL maple toms and snare with Zephyr lugs.
Then I'm having them all painted black/gold duco by Jeff Christenson.
Now debating whether to keep the toms tacked bottom or drill for bottom lugs. Any suggestions? Really digging the idea of a tacked bottom kit... 13,16,28. But is it practical?
Aaron
Please plug your holes with wood dowels(preferably of the kind of wood the shell is made of) rather than some kind of paste filler.
It would be a travesty to do otherwise
