Fibes Tom Arms

Loading...

I feel like this is going to be a needle in a hay stack kind of deal here.

But, I am looking for early 70's Fibes tom arms like the ones in this pic.

http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/fibes_drumsets/1972_fibes_drumsets2-2.jpg

This set belongs to a friend/neighbor of mine and I am trying to help him round up some parts.

His set is complete except for the tom arms.

He still has most of the hardware.

We just need the arms.

Help if you can.

:D

I play a kit very similar to that. I have one arm and have used it with little success, no matter how tight you put them they slip. The Fibes drums from that era are very heavy. Your better off using some kind of suspension mount off the cymbal stands. I use Pearl Optimounts but there are others that would work as well.

I know that.

He already has the toms on rims mounts.

We just thought it would be fun to find the og mounts.

Sell me your one arm. :D

The only fIbes gear I have left is the single post w/ the piece that goes through to hold two toms. Sorry that won't help since your buddy's bass drum has two offset mounts, darn

A while back we had a thread going on Bobby Colomby's gear, and this picture came up, but with much different arms on a Fibes kit. Were these not standard equipment for Fibes?

That's cool bro.

If they belonged to your dad then just keep them.

I don't want to part out an active kit.

Especially one with family history.

They will pop up at some point. :D
