Feeler: WTT 2010 Ludwig Black Beauty 14x6.5 Brass on Brass

Hey guys,

I've been contemplating offering my Black Beauty up for a trade. This is a snare I said I'd never let go of. It sounds amazing. The reason I'm posting it for a possible trade is because I'm looking for something in the same sonic ballpark that would match up a little better with my new kit for a tour. I bought it new in 2010 from Memphis Drum Shop. Has puresound 42 strand wires on it.

The only cosmetic scuff with the drum is that there is some chipping on the top hoop from when I let my singer convince me to let him play it and he thought he'd go nuts with the rim shots for a minute. I've attached a close up. It's impossible to tell unless you're only a foot away from the drum. Otherwise, everything else looks exactly as it was when I got it.

I'm thinking I'd like to end up with a 60's Ludwig Supraphonic COB or something in that ballpark. Anyway, I'm open to hearing trade offers.

I -know- why you want to swap for a COB... -Every time- I play mine, it makes the little hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Best of luck... hope you find a dance partner. That's a nice drum you're putting up.
