Factory Ludwig Blackrolite with Imperial lugs

From green glass drum

Great Stuff Man.Nice work saving those old drums.BTW, The lugs you put on the Black Bass Drum are Pearl.AND...I believe they are referred to as "Coffin" Lugs. You know, a lot of people do not really like the "Coffins",but Pearl made them well and the chrome is pretty good quality too.A lot of old "Blaemires" I purchased came with "coffins".I kept the coffin lugs on those drums.I kind of like them now.

Thanks Green glass....I rescued them from another old bass drum shell..they were nice, but the wrap was toast....Its now naked... I may experiment with stain and wood hoops and new lugs......

Dude that's not a 'hobby' - you're hooked! Welcome to the club, we all are!

I like that Rogers piccolo, sweet little drum. Bet it's a firecracker.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Well that's given me an idea :)

I've got Imperial lugs I took off my Supra, I think 2 are broken (that's why I changed them to tubes), if it's only 2 then I have enough to change the bowties on my '00 Blackrolite.

I think the Imperials look darned good on the black.
