On a recent visit to a drum shop on the Boston south shore I checked out an entry level set (Stagg??) in white marine pearl, that was on display. I was very, very impressed. Obviously entry offerings have progressed by light years since I got started 35 years ago. Only the heads were sub-standard. The kit as a whole was solid and beautiful. If they could only change the name I'd buy it!
