Engraved Leedy Ludwig Snare Question - web site question

i have a snare drum that i kept from the 50's it's solid brass.marking on the snare

ludwig,broadway standard,leedy oc. elkhart,indiana

the rim has a straight edge good for chewing drum sticks on rim shots. also the snare drum is engraved completly around the outside very nice.

could you help me to find more info on this snare?
