$5500usd

I've considered selling this 16 inch drum a few times in the last year or so. I've sentimental attachment to this drum but it may be time to pass it on to a good home. It's a great part of Gretsch drum history... Round Badge and the first issue of the Anniversary Sparkle wrap finish.... introduced in 1958.

I will ship. Buyer pays shipping.

A letter of provanance included along with Elvins fibre drum case.... SwissAir baggage tag still attached.

More photos available upon request.

I'm in West Kelowna, B.C. Canada

Just imagine what the whole set would be worth. good luck with the sale.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Size matters????

Hi. I did edit and put the size in at the top. But... whomever does end up buying this drum would probably buy it for it's Elvin Jones connection and not use it giging. I love the tone range of this 6ply drum. I do use it in my music room.... sits in with my 59 Gold Sparkle Progressive Jazz set. That set has calfhide on both heads on the toms. I'm thinking of ordering some nice flats from Jeff at SternTanning and tucking calfhide onto custom fitted wood fleshhoops on Elvin's drum. Killer I think. I also have two 16 inch NOS Gretsch Permatone heads that were Elvins as well.

Kona,

If you don`t mind me asking, how long have you owned this and how did you acquire it?

Cheers
