I asked several questions and asked him to put additional photos on one thing he did mention to me that is not mentioned in the description is that this was a marching bass drum and the legs were added when it was converted also the badges never been tampered with it you can clearly see is and it's never been re wrapped ?

The current owner encouraged me to post here . He only knows what the previous owner had told him . I think the price is respectfully way over the top .

I agree that the price is a bit much. In the last picture, to me, the tom mount looks like it may have caused some cracks and separation to the inner shell. Also, as he mentioned, the tom mount itself has a crack so I would shy away. If you're looking for a Stop Sign Badge Gretsch BD I would recommending looking a bit more, unless of course you're looking for a 24" Bonham type BD. Just my humble opinion.
