Early Sabian Ride Score and Questions Last viewed: 1 week ago

Loading...

Just got home with a 20" Sabian ride and it's a nice one! It has lots of hammering and 7 rivet holes. It has the lettering used on Canadian Ks, shallow Sabian Canada stamp, cymbal logo underneath only and what looks to be the same signature as my 90's HHX crash. Looks more like "UmmmmPhuuuud" than what is refered to as the "vinnie"signature. I'd love it if you knowledgable people could help me fill in the blanks once more! Thanks!

It's a real "1st Generation" and because you are in Canada it could be a pre-USA release. What does it weigh?

Never play it the same way once.

That may have been hammered by some of the Turkish dudes that came to Canada after the Zildjian plant was closed in Turkey

Thanks people! I'll try to get to the post office to weigh it as I don't have a scale at home. I can tell you that she sounds fantastic and has a nice dark ping with just enough wash not to be over-bearing. Best of all she really matches well with my 18" HHX studio crash (my go-to crash). It's like they were made to be played together.
