Early 60's Ludwig Silver Sparkle Inlay

Hello, I am looking to buy early 60's Ludwig silver sparkle inlay for two 20" hoops. Needs to be yellowed. I bought the new stuff on line and its just not working for me. any leads would be greatly appreciated.

The inlay I have is exactly half inch. The groove itself is bigger. But all my ludwig inlays are half inch. If this is what your looking for I have enough for one hoop easily. The second hoop will be short by about 16 inches. Witch could be put at the bottom and no one would see.

Also you might try getting some transparent amber spray paint and lightly spray your new ones down. And I mean real lightly, coat by coat until it's a decent match. I've done this before with whole toms and you'd be surprised how well it works. But your call.

I had a piece of the new stuff left over and I tried all sorts or things. a highlighter, yellow oil, water color and acrylic paint......nothing would stick...where could I get this amber transparent spray paint??

online. An automotive shop like auto zone or pep boys...Or what ever auto chain store you have in your area should have it. It's amber to represent amber turn signal lens colors. For me it's a perfect yellowing affect. But really anything that is a transparent yellow will do it. the trick is putting it on real light and even. And don't spray real close to the wrap. Kinda just hazing it on.
