Early 1920s Ludwig & Ludwig Bass Drum

Hello,

I bought this drum from a Philadelphia theater company which was folding several years back...

It is a Ludwig & Ludwig bass drum, 28" in diameter, 14" inches deep. The finish is mahogany (?) in the center band, with bands of a lighter shade finish along the shell perimeter.

I'm dating it to the early 1920s based on a badge on this site with identical form, typefaces and decorative curlicues.

The condition of the skins is quite good (to my inexpert eye); the shell is likewise nicely preserved.

For sale for best offer. For pick-up in New Jersey, or shipping can be arranged by consensus.
