yea I hear you guys, so upsetting, just ****es me off big time. you know I bought a Ludwig kit from a good friend a long time ago and brought that kit back to life and it meant a lot to me. (all of my drums do) so when I decided to sell it, I had my pecking order. I would first give the guy who helped me a shot, he would have gave me what I wanted, but he owns a shop, so I know he would sell it, but he passed, so I asked a few friends, same thing, so of course the dreaded CL.
usually when I buy something, yes I look to make a deal, but I don't look to rip someone off. its a fine line, but I tread softly and try to show respect to people who I buy from, especially if I know that item means something to them.
when I sell, of course I like money, and yes sometimes greed will get to me, but! I really try to find someone who I know will appreciate something as much as I did. and I will always be honest and work with someone, you don't always have too, but its all about respect. I like to think I am helping someone out by cutting them a deal on a nice BOP kit. especially when I tell them I need the money and I know I could e-bay it and probably make more money, but I am impatient and you have convinced me that my kit is what you have been searching for.
then Bam! you see it, ouch, I guess I feel like an exploited refugee. well, a lesson learned. water under the bridge, you cant hold a grudge and tomorrow is a new day. it will all work itself out. good night I guess I am done crying and moaning. there will always be good music and drums.
