Any thoughts?
I saw the retro style 'flush based' hardware DW have released a while back, but I wondering if anyone has seen (or knows about) the DW consolette tom holder and the (I'm assuming) 'new' BD mounted cymbal arm?
We've had a couple of the tom mounts pass through our 'hands' (at hyper light speed I might add!!) and I was very impressed with it. It was a lot st urdier and more adjustable than the W&A version of yore.
Gibraltar has a new rail consolette as well...it actually looks a little nicer. Both are supposed to be able to retrofit the old two screw models. The DW seems to have elongated holes for various distances between the screws. The Gibraltar looks like it will be adjustable vertically. It doesn't look like either will be able to fit the 4 screw model (!). There's a discussion and pictures at drumforum.org . You can do a search there...
