Hey, Mike! Yep, I agree with you. Their music was just a bit too "pop" for me but, I think even back in the day, I appreciated her musicianship and VERY clean vocals. She did what she was supposed to do on drums. Later on, she played some guitar to front the band. Fine. She's not the first to go that route. All in all, a very talented lady! Brian

Her brother has said that they hated the pop image that they were forced into & Karen was ****ed off that they wouldn't let her play drums as much as she wanted.

Not one of the greats, but just watched the KISS MTV Unplugged on YouTube where Peter Criss and Ace jumped in for a couple of songs. Wasn't sure what to expect after so many years but thought Peter Criss sounded pretty good with his phrasing and raspy/bluesy style.
