What model mic are you using for the toms? How is the bass drum mic being used and what type is it? Is the reso head ported?

Scott

not sure on brand mics, leader of my new band has drum mics, all he asked was that I get some snare/tom clips and he would like me to get the Kelly Shu system for the bass drum , as you know. I'm waiting on your hoop to see what direction I go in terms of heads.

I m going to my shop in about an hour to take care of that. I thought I would go Tuesday and the yesterday, but things kept coming up...like they often do.

You should find out what mics are in use before deciding on particular style mic clip. There is a big difference between something that will work for a mic like a Sennheiser 421 vs. a Shure PG56 for instance. A lot of the more compact mics actually come with clips as that is how they are designed to work. Therefore, my guess is that he will show up with SM57's or something similar.
