SWEET

9 lugs top and bottom, 6 ply with vintage round over edges, "made in germany" on single badge, date stamp 210, phonic looking leg mounts???(I'm sure they are original but wtf???)

Also here's a much better pic of the D471 snare, finished except for gloss coat.

All the hardware is done and all the shells are close to finished....

....except for gloss coat.

Can't decide if I'm satisfied with this finish or not.

What do you all think?????

I don't want to go any further on finish till I'm sure I'm goin in the right direction.

Opinions?........

Two things.

Can we see the badge on the FT ?

What`s going on with the snare , does it have a badge ?

The finish looks cool, and should have a glasslike clear coat .

The drilling tells the story about the champion FT leg mounts. Drop mounts don`t line up. Neither do the lugs, so if the drilling is cool, it`s Oct.72. The FT leg mounts weren't even made by 70.
