I know what you mean, I bought 85% of what you see new at the Niles plant in 69, I was 19, now I'm 60. for the most part they have been sitting under my bing pong table most of that time. I don't play it, although I have given some thought to bring a smaller version of that out to a gig. I had this set (minus the 6/8") on display at the drum show, and I've been asked to get a booth next year, but I declined. a ton of work, and you have to stay by your booth, (I'd rather be buying stuff Mind Blowi)

I was at the drum show but missed the kit. You had taken it down. And I missed meeting you, you were not at the booth. But I did meet Gary (Jaghog) and played his stainless "monster kit" he was very nice and so wer his drums. Next year I hope to meet more members.

If I had the 20" floor tom we would have twins.

Wow! Very cool kit!! To properly take advantage of those drums at my current level of proficiency, I'd split the two 24" kicks and lay down the 20" for a Bop kit kick drum and sort out the remaining toms to make three nice sets. That is enough drums to keep me busy for a lifetime.

That is true. And you could hold out the 6-8-10-12 to do a cover of "Burning Down the House"!

The downside of turning the 20" into a kick is that then you wouldn't have a 20" floor tom, and it's not just anybody that can say they have a 20" floor tom!

Gary, if you added a gong tom, a couple of timbales and two more snare drums to that kit, then you would really have something. As it is the kit occupies more than one zip code.

Really nice brother. My days of wanting to play a kit that big are over, but I would sure sit around and stare at that kit for a very long time.

That is a super sweet kit, don't sell or trade any of it!
