Today's special: bass pedal.
Dr Frankenstein's Drum Works
For all who didn't 'get it' the picture is an ebay offering for a 'vintage Pearl' pedal. The foot board is 60s ish Pearl while the front end is a Speed King. The pearl would have been a strap drive.. and you can see how well the Ludwig direct drive bar fits SO well to the foot board. Must be smooooth! Falling Do
Yeah it needs reuniting with a Speedking pedal board asap!

A man has to do what he has to do. And you did it over there... :D (Thank you Peter Sellers!)
Actually, my comment was more about the famous acrimony between Ludwig and Slingerland, not your inventiveness! I think it's a great job, personally.
yeah really, whats so wrong with putting two greats together to make a double great? :)

Absolutely nothing. In fact I think it is quite brilliant. I was being sarcastic.... and maybe poking a little fun at the purists. The picture I posted was clearly a 'square peg stuck in a round hole.'
