double pedal question

Loading...

I haven't really had the chance to try out a set of longboards. I wear size 13/14 boots/shoes, but I'm very used to standard-length boards, so... Not sure it'd help or hinder me.

Edit:

Quoted post

I'm transitioning from a pair of Caroline ASBA's.....

Hehehe... I used to just absolutely love those ASBA pedals. They had a lot of cool features for their day. I dug the feel of the foot board and the beater was pretty substaintial - the beater rod especially - I really like the mass, which just seemed an ideal combination for me and my 26" double kicks.

I also got a good supply of replacement parts for them too.

pedal pics right here....

[QUOTE=Hoppy;102332]That's one of the likeable features of the Trick is that it can become two single pedals (as can some of the others).

QUOTE]

I own a pair of Gibraltar Rock pedals...these things are beasts...for being low to mid end pedals...Ive had them for about 10 years, and they are great still, and im a big dude(6'2" 300lbs...so they take a beating from me...lol)and they, as well, can be turned from double pedals into 2 single pedals...

One set of pedals I have tried recently are the new Tama Speed Cobras...they are phenominal feeling pedals...they have longboards, but theyre skinny to keep the mass down, and cobra coil for quick spring back...theyre so smooth its ridiculous. A lot different from Demon Drives, and the DW 9000 pedals...but its also based on preference...hope this helps some...
