Die Cast Rim, 14 inch, 8 lug, Snare side

Hi, guys,

Looking for a 14 inch, 8 lug, snare side die cast rim. It doesn't have to be perfect and it doesn't have to be a specific make. Thank you in advance.

At one point I got sick of waiting, so I just cut my own snare gates into a res side die cast rim. It came out really good! Also, on a 3-way snare, Pearl's symphonic throw, I just drilled six hoes at opposite sides of a res side die cast rim, worked perfectly for that, since those three snare sets need the special gate anyhow.

Thanks very much for replying, sir! You are obviously a lot more advanced than I am in this "do it yourself" area! I will seriously give your idea a second thought, but I doubt if I can even come close to what you did! Thank you very much!!!...Brian

I ended up buying a new one at a discount from Washington Music Center, I think it was about $65 shipped.
