Cymbals with nothing but a crescent and star.

Loading...

High everyone! I have found a set of three cymbals 8",6",4" and that have no identifying marks on them except for a crescent moon and star. My research has lead me to think that they were made by Paiste. However I can't find any Paiste cymbals that only have the crescent and star. Can any of you identify them? What would be there value?

See photo

Here is what the mark looks like

I hope you guys can help!

Those examples are called genuine no-names. Rarely seen but often imitated. What are they worth?

I dunno. Whats the going rate per pound for scrap bronze these days?

So it's only worth the bronze it's made out of? A Rarely seen, limited, genuine no-name, sounds expense. So why is it scrap?

Because nobody knows or cares. No demand, no value.

If you ever try selling them, you'll see just what I mean.

Its scrap...because it's crap.

They sound as good as ones you would buy off of the Paiste website. But I guess that's just a bonus for me then right? :) Well thanks then.

If you're happy, then I guess all that matters. But anything like Piaste Supers would not be considered a bonus by me, that's for sure.

They look like the cymbals they put on those kid's drum sets that they sell over at Wal-Mart.

And by the way….you're welcome. And be sure to come back to Cymbal Insultants for all your cymbal identification needs.

Nobody knows...

and nobody cares...

and nobody checks, because nobody dares...

its sort of like the dust that collects under the chairs....

(only less important)
