Cymbal help....

From Drumaholic

All the correct answers were already give to you by backbeatkeeper, so I saw no need to jump into this thread just to confirm info that was already said. If it was wrong THEN I would have jumped in.

Thank you Obi-Wan, I hope to be as strong in the force as you are..... ;)

If it was wrong THEN I would have jumped in.And just for the record: Cymbalholic is not my site, or anything close to it. If you go over there looking for correct anwers to your cymbal questions and you don't get them, oh well. That just goes to show you just how much that site has declined from what is once was. I don't consider it to be good for anything these days except maybe for an unsolicited arguement, and I don't recomend it to anyone. Its just a boy's club for drummers with Cymbal fetishes very few of which know much of anything, and nothing more.

Ni Hard feeling here.Yes BBK did help me on two of the cymbals..That was cool.I know with out photos of the Zild's i have if iam lucky a member wil post the photos of the stamp's so maybe you could pin down a date. Its a stamp i have not seen under the Zild markings the cymbals have 3 dot's i have seen marking with one dot-line-dot-line.. That's early to mid 1940's, called a pre-war stamp although it may extend beyond WWII just a little bit.
