I built this rat rod Prime-ro-lite for my son a few years ago. Totally destroyed finish and lugs on the drum, sanded and primed the shell, then left it in the roasting summer sun to bake it. Imperial lugs off a bent Supra and voila!

One of my all time favorites is also my only custom. A late 1960s Camco 6/6ply Jasper shelled 7x14" Concert Aristocrat from a 10x14" tom. Hi Gloss Piano Black Lacquer w/ 16 lugs and a clear maple interior.
