Crestline Snare on Ohio Craiglist

Loading...

Saw this fishing around, thought some of you might be interested.

http://cleveland.craigslist.org/msg/379104162.html

I emailed him and asked for a closer pic of the badge so we could put that on the Japanese badge page.

Funny how I joined this site to get some answers about snares and am suddenly obsessively looking for vintage drums now... I really would like to find 60's ludwig kit at a reasonable price.

Hey, thanks for the input. I'm not interested in the Crestline, but I know there are collectors for them. And I know what you mean about getting bitten by the bug! heh heh I think it happens to all of us. The symptoms start when you start looking on the internet...and then...well...you'll soon know the rest! ;)

BTW....What sizes of vintage Ludwig drums are you looking for? There are several sets on ebay and they are all under $1000.00 (so far). Is there a particular finish you are interested in finding?

I dont have a preference yet. I play a 12/16/22 configuration now on my mapex. I'd like similar, though I wouldnt mind a Bonham like setup, but keeping the bass drum at 22. I missed a Blue Strata Standard set last week locally, for like 450. I like those colors alot.I've been looking at ebay and on craigslist in different cities. However, I would fair better locally as to not eat so much of the budget on shipping.
