Yeah that's made by Hoshino. Shells are thicker, no rings. The lug inserts are held in my little tabs that slide in - and they are made of metal - much like modern ones that are made of plastic. I have one of these kits - may wrap it someday. She sits nested in a box.

This wrap is what is really special here (I think). I have a Star made Majestic in this same texture - but in gray - which mimics Premier's Grey Shimmer. Someday I'll restore it. Again - nested in a box. These WILL get done, as I finally have a router table to do edge-work. (It all starts next spring/summer when it gets warmer.)

Great sizes....great vintage kit (early 70s is my guess).
