Clubdate Badge, Never Seen This One

Found listed on Local CL.

Anyone ever seen this badge?

Or muffler knob?

Or color?

It's a "mysterious" combination.

Newer imported "Club Dates" from about 4-5 years ago. Nice drums for the money. Now there is another new Club Date series that (I believe) is made in the USA.

Yeah, I just saw some that were for sale on MF and GC.

At first I thought it was some sort of elaborate "Fakery".

But NO. Legit.

I think that they were Cherry/Gum shells. Have heard nice things about them. Wanted an olive colored set when they first came out, but never pulled the trigger. Seems like the snares are the same but with 4ply and re-rings and the toms and bass being 6 ply.

I had a set with those cherry/gum shells and the drums sounded great. Fat and warm like mahogany, but they projected better/more volume. Might have something to do with the bearing edges they put on them, but the drums sound excellent. If the price is right they're a good buy.

Too many great drums to list here!
