Clip on bass drum spurs

This is not actually restoring, but my attempt to make clip on bass drum spurs

I took 2 clamps, cut original screw, than made on lathe machine new ones with 8 mm thread. Than I took two washers from some old metal snare lug mount and put them on

So here they are!

You need to add some small round rubber pads on the clamp and tension arm to preserve your rim!

When I look at the pictures I think that maybe two cowbell mounts would do the job. I don't know if any of you already did that... It would be perfect with rubber feet placed on the tip of the clamps.

I've done it myself, works great!

Never play it the same way once.
