Anyone have a decal hook up? All the ones currently on eBay are wrong. Want the 60s Decal w/USA on the bottom right.

Thanks!

I really like that wrap. You are doing an excellent job on these. I can't wait to see the whole kit together!

Hoops are sanded/painted. Just gotta blast the inlays in tomorrow and wait for the heads/decal to come in the mail. Will definitely have "finished" pics this weekend if the decal makes it!

Looking super.

I'm convinced that hoops on 16 are correct, but not as convinced of the top one on the 12. Is the shape exactly as with the 16? Seems to have a wide flaring at the rod seat.

And speaking of seats, it seeems everyone is on the edge of their seat waiting to see it all together. Color is especially nice once you see it contrasted against the chrome.

Had another major headache getting heads send from cascio-interstate. Man they suck. At any rate---heads are here, hoops are painted. Just need to find time to cut/glue in the inlays and put it all together. Maybe tonight--definitely this weekend.

Looks like you're right on the top hoop of the 12---the bottom one actually looks more correct, but I think they're both wrong. Major bummer. Gotta sort that out.

I'd consider using them tiny finishing nails on just the ends of the inlay strips - kind of tricky getting a nice straight bead along the inlay channel of the hoop, spreading the contact cement ~just~ to the edges; potential for messiness.

Not that you're not up to it, just a thought. Can't wait for pics of the finished beast!

Alright y'all. Here they are. Thanks so much for all the help/opinions/suggestions. Its amazing to go back and see how these things were at the start. Even found correct tension rods for both sides of the toms. Im very happy with the way they turned out. Now on to the next project!
