Ive never been one to clean cymbals. I have a guy I did some work for and part of the deal was he wanted me to clean his cymbals. This is basically the only reason I'm doing this.
This thread isn't meant to be a debate as to why or why not you should or shouldn't clean your cymbal though. I'm simply asking those that DO clean their cymbals for advice on how to go about it safely. The customer already told me he's not worried about them losing their ink.
