I'm about to start stripping down this old Pearl kit that i've had for 20 years. It's worked hard for those 20 years and deserves a clean up. What is the best way to clean the shells? They are maple with a clear laquer finish.
Thanks in advance
We used Gibson guitar polish for lacquer and poly finishes on used kits that came in. It cleans and shines easily.
If you use it, be sure to buff it all off because I suspect it contains some silicone.
