Hey evryone

This may have nothing to do with drumming (although you can clearly hear some percussion when listening to this peace of music) but I have to do some homework on the film 'The Kid' of 1921.

Do you guys know what style of 'classical' music this is?

The Kid (1921) performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Carl Davis. This film is one of the best of the best !!

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

I'm going to guess "20th Century Romantic"...with the emphasis on "guess".

That would be my "guess" also, although my wife, with a Masters in Music Ed might pinpoint it even more as there are so many separate movements of 20th C. classic music. If I had to guess the composer, I'd say it sounds a lot like Carmine Coppola who wrote the score to The Godfather.

Keep in mind that this music has no real connection to Charlie Chaplin's "The Kid" as it was a silent movie with no score or dialogue. Someone just chose this music to accompany the YouTube video.
