Chrome Polish - Coke/Aluminum Foil Bath

What is the best chrome polish to buy for the lugs, etc?

To remove rust, can I just take all the tension rod screws and throw them in a coke/aluminum foil bath to remove that?

The thought of having to meticulously polish 104 lugs, screws, etc is mind numbing, prior to starting I just want to see what quick ways are out there. I am trying to work smart.

Soak tension rods in a mix of Dawn and water, about 4 to 1, for two or three days, and then a stiff toothbrush to finish up.

For lugs, I like Neverdull or Cape Cod polishing cloths, but there's lots of other products. Those are my favorites so far.
