I used to own an early 70s Slingerland Kit in Blue Satin Flame. I loved how it looked on stage, especially under the lights.

The problem I had, which is common with most satin finishes, is that the finish scratched so easily. Great looking kit, though!

i just made him an offer. i need em like a hole in the head but.... love the wrap. does anyone know if these would have halfway decent shells? i have some junk zim-gar drums and the luan shells are shizer. since i think they are both pearl stencil kits would they have the same shells?
