Good morning avid drum people, I hope this post finds you all in good health & creative spirits.. I'm in a global search for a source to purchase some late 1950s early to mid 1960s vintage ludwig champagne sparkle wrap, new or in good condition used, enough to cover a small 8X10 rack tom to match my 1959-1962 super rare/early proto type Ludwig champagne sparkle "Jazzette" kit? I'm even willing to purchase a retired champagne sparkle floor or kick drum to unwrap as long as I have enough clean wrap between any holes to wrap my 8x10 rack tom? if anyone has any directions/suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.. thanks so much for your time/consideration.. love & healthy blessings to you all & your families... gdrumzz

Welcome to the forum! It seems like Champagne Sparkle is really popular! The problem is finding a donor drum to get the wrap from. Not quite sure how much good or NOS wrap would be lying around, but you never know! I'm guessing that the wrap you are trying to match is a bit faded? If not, Precision Drum Company as brought back their Bermuda Sand, aka Champagne Sparkle, from Delmar. It's not cheap, but it really looks great! I just had them wrap a 4x14 Keller snare shell I had lying around. Just the wrap was $70! Something to think about.
