Can't find a box to ship 16" cymbals/hi hats?

Loading...

U-Haul sells what they call a "Cell Kit"..........

Product number: CK.

It's $5.95...

If you take the contents out,you end up with a 18 -18 -3 box..............

That allows 2" on each side of the 14" cymbals, but maybe only 1/2" top and bottom.....

STILL.......if you find someone who has some Hats/16" Crash you want, usually, there is a U-Haul not too far away, and at least you can get your cymbals that way.....

They also sell bubble wrap/popcorn/tape too,so that works out good!Cool1

Too much work for most people, and then, the "box" isn't very "square".

Plus, where do they get all the cardboard to use?

Hit your local Pizza joint and ask to buy a pizza box. Cost is about $2 or so, should do the trick. I've shipped calf heads and hoops in the Pizza boxes, no issues.

Pizza boxes are only around 1" to 1-1/2" tall...............

I generally like to use a 4"-6" tall box.............

By pilfering it from recycle bins the night before garbage collection day, that's how. Boxes too....and packing material. A party sized pizza box will accommodate 16" hats just fine....and for free. Dig?

Yeh what the guy above said.

I love dumpster diving. I never pay for cardboard.

Warning. Make sure ya take da wife or whomever with just in case ya fall in and the lid slam's shut.;)
