once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
The taste of today's stuff just doesn't have that "it" factor.
Colombian, Thai stick and Acapulco gold had a unique flavor and aroma.
No wonder vaping is becoming so popular.
It's so you don't have to deal with the generic taste.
Yeah that's what I hear. I would have thought they would have come up with some super weed by now, but everyone says it's all become ho-hum. Guess I got in on it when it was the real thing! I remember Thai stick and Colombian and Maui Wowie, but most of it was called Oaxacan because it came from that part of Mexico -at least in the area I'm from in the midwest. I do remember that each one was very unique tasting and looking. The one we always went after was called "skunk" because it really smelled like a dead skunk. But I think the problem back then was that if you got caught growing the stuff, then you went to prison. So, you either lived on a farm out in the boondocks somewhere where your neighbors were miles away -where the occasional dead skunk smelled wasn't unusual -because there were real, live skunks running around!....or you started growing some of the kinds that didn't stink like that. I think a lot of the modern stuff evolved from those kinds is what happened. That's what I'm told, anyway....;)
