Can I get my late-70s Slingerlands to sound like this?

What might I do to try to get my late-70s Slingerland drum set to sound like this (unmiced and unmixed)? Is that impossible because it's mostly the mics and the mix?

It's 24x14, 13x9, 14x10, 16x16, 18x18.

I don't own any Slingerlands, but that kit sounds to me like 2-ply coated batter heads with the batter head being tighter than the resonant head- probably like the way that Steve Maxwell tunes. Here's his tuning video:

Loosen the tension get calfs topside should make quite a bit of improvement.
