Ya, they are pretty cool. I may also buy this Super Flyer kit from the same guy I got these from. They have mahogany shells like the Player Date. 6x13, 10x16, 9x22

Wow! That has everything I like about a compact kit without sacrifice! I'd love to hear it!

I'm surprised that a high end custom kit would have the tom bracket attached directly to the shell.

Wasn't C & C the company that was making luan/Philippine mahogany shell custom kits for over $2000?

They are very old school, the tom mounts are placed directly on the shell. Most of the kits I've seen have no tom mounts or rail mounts on the kick, they'd just place the tom on a snare stand. I don't believe they even make their own hardware, that would explain the Gibraltar rail mount on the kick. I'm sure the original owner ordered it that way.
