Years ago, I read an interview with John Lennon. Basically, the reporter asked if Ringo were the best drummer in Liverpool. John repied: " Hell, mate, he's not even the best drummer in The Beatles!" Having seen Ringo on several occasions, I must disagree. Ringo is as steady as a rock and plays exactly what he is supposed to do. No added B.S. or fancy frills. The gentleman does admirably!
