Ah, I just commented on your other Camco thread.....is it for the oval badge snare? I'd be surprised if you find any NOS and I don't recall having seen any (used or 'as new') for sale in the many years I've been searching for Camco stuff on ebay.

You might be already aware of this but there were changes throughout the various periods of what they used.

Chrome seems to have been standard up until the late 1960s then it seems to have gone over to brass from the oval badge (hence my comment on the other thread) right the way through to the end of the LA era.

The lips on both of these were comparatively wide - the replacement ones you can get now have a marginally thinner lip (I think they're intended to imitate the Ludwigs) and to anyone but the most fanatical, there's not much in it. Depends on how obsessive you want to be.

Precision Drums and I guess most of the other parts suppliers would have some as well.

It is a chrome grommet, on the winged badge.

If you contact My Old Kentucky Drums he will sell you as many as you need. The brass grommets are identical to the old WFL brass grommets they used on the small brass Keystone badges. Exactly or precisely the same ones that would have been on an oval badged Camco. This is just opinion but from what I have seen it looks to me like Camco switched to brass grommets when the change from 4ply to 6ply took place. Steve Maxwell might know for sure, and possibly Dolfan when the switch happened. They no doubt still had chrome grommets on hand when the brass were introduced, so I am sure there are singles and exceptions to the rule here and there..
