Camco parts needed

Loading...

Here is my shopping list to get my Camco drums together correctly.

2 bass drum spurs and mounts.

One 20" hoop.

Scrap silver sparkle wrap.

Could use the entire tom mounting system but I'm not sure which one yet.

Also need correct rims for the 12 and the 14, one for each.

Pics provided so you can see what I have to match.

Thank you!

Ludwig curved spurs from the 70's will work on your BD....

WAY easier to find too!

I put this over in the other thread but have dozens of lugs (both Camco and DW with the right innards), the floor tom mount which I think you need for your bass drum (though you haven't mentioned it) but nothing else.

I'm in Australia which is a pain for postage but see how you go.

Skinny Ludwig bass drum spurs or after-market versions thereof (which are pretty cheap ad easy to come by) are almost indistinguishable from the Camco ones, though the curve is slightly different.

I think your tom mount is kosher though very unusual.

T-rods and claws are a nightmare and insanely expensive. DW did a re-issue version a few years back (but with their tighter thread). Works fine if you replace the swivel nuts inside the lugs (or use DW lugs...see above). Drum Factory Direct also do t-rod (though not a claw) which is extremely close to the Camco one if you're not bothered about authenticity.

From Slingalud

You need the triangle tom mount for your bass drum which should cover most of the aberration that's on there now. I have an absolute warehouse of Camco parts and everything on your list but none for sale, only trade. The single tom swivel tom arm or holder for the triangle BD mount will be The hardest thing to find. I'am sending Stef in Belgium one this morning when the post office opens. I am open to trades only.

Thanks a million, I sent you a message!

Scored some lugs so we can take those off the list.

Thank you to the guys offering trades. I f I can come up with something to trade I will contact you. Unfortunately for me, I have only been at this for a few years so I dont have much to offer.

Next part I would like to get would be a muffler for the 14", then that drum is done. Could actually use three of them but one would be a start.

Thank you!

Mufflers some of the most difficult to come by.

I've got a muffler. It's not perfect, but it's free to you, Jeff. PM if interested.
