I have been slowly bringing back a one-owner, players kit that was purchased from a music store Anchorage, Alaska in 1965 (Blue Moire, 12-14-20). It's got the heavy early lugs and first generation rims. The build quality is very apparent.
My issue is with the internal damper. They vibrate/buzz like a damn tuning fork. when I hit the toms. I kind of celebrate this as a testament to the wonderful resonance of the Camco line, but rather than remove it, I would prefer another solution.
So, has anybody dealt with this before and have a fix?
