In my life-long search for the "perfect pedal" I owned one for a short time. One of MANY that did not pass. It ended up being sold/traded years ago. Now I collect all the Premier 252 pedals I can get...

Whoa, just did a Google Image Search for this. That is sort of an unusual looking design, but looks very adjustable.

I've been through a few, and what works the best for me are the ones I've Frankensteined together out of a combination of vintage and modern DW5000 and Camco parts.

I like either the strap or round single chain cam and the older thin footboard, with the modern turbo hinge and the modern solid bottom plate. It sounds weird as hell, I know, but it makes sense. The newer footboards and double chains have more mass and feel more sluggish, the new hinge and plate give more stability so less energy is lost from the assembly slipping from side to side.

My daily player is an old Camco footboard and strap cam with everything else modern DW5000 from about 6 years ago.

The cool thing is that DW has never changed the hole patterns, so everything lines up. And some of the parts that you can still buy brand new have the same casting marks as the ones from 50 years ago. They're still using some of the same tooling! At least they were a few years ago.
