2 things:
An older post says that the only way to get burgundy sparkle is to order a custom wrap (!!$!!) from Drummaker and wait 3 months.
Anyone have any better ideas or know where I can find enough to do a 13, 16, 22?
I'm about to strip a decent 3 ply red sparkle 70's Ludwig BD (found on the curb in Brooklyn!) to rewrap with the already bare toms. Is this the "ethical" thing to do, or should I sell/trade the BD for something messy, bare or already recovered that could have any number of problems and creates more work for me?
I considered wrapping the toms in red sparkle, and all would be well...maybe that's the thing to do? I just don't like red sparkle so much.
Thanks.
