5 tom tom's but there like concert toms no bottom head. 2 floor toms, and 24 inch kick. Is it worth it to convert them to regular tom toms?
[FONT="Comic Sans MS"][COLOR="green"]These appear to be a 70's set ('75?) judging by the pointed badges and labeling. Note the lack of re-rings so that would mean 6ply. They came originally as a concert tom configuration; someone switched over from the clip mounts to Modular hardware to give it the 'modern' 80's look. DOH The good news is bass drum & floor toms have the classic double head set up.
It would cost about $50 (+ shipping) PER DRUM to add a bottom head to each rack tom, so about $250(assuming that you do all the measuring/drilling work yourself). Is it worth it? Only if you plan to keep them as your own. But don't expect to increase the value of the set by 'adding on' to it. Probably best to clean them up, get 2 sets of FT legs, and buy some heads. Then you are looking at about $200 to get these playable.
