Thanks all of you guys.
I am still learning about the process.
With each one, I learn something new.
The 14, with way to many extra holes is next.

You're hitting this one out of the park, Scott. Gorgeous drum kit. You did right by them. Allen and Jerry would be proud. :DMe too!John
Hey John,
Hope you're doing well! I was searching on this forum the other day, and ran into your 20 page thread when you bought the original Blaemire kit that Vinny hooked you up with. Boy, did that bring back some great/exciting times. Blaemires rule! Yes Sir

9x14: Filled all the holes.
Squared, trued.
Did the edges.
See pinstripe bearing edge in center/top.
I "invented" "yeah sure?" this Sharpie mark and sand off system,
only to find out that a member of another forum does the same thing.
He learned it from another Blaemire guy named
Steve Balsavage. DCI then DFO Forums.
Steve posted this method years ago.
Anyone here know Mr. Balsavage?
This has been a very cool project, much different then what I do, I have enjoyed your thread!
I really appreciate all the great restoration and veneer work you do jc.
The red slings are great.
Thanks for the compliment.

Is anyone selling a Blaemire kit?
Jenkins Martin Drums make them.
A beautiful re-creation of Al's shells.
Legacy (Original) kits are rare.
Do you know of anybody selling a Jenkins-Martin kit either? I love the sound I hear on YouTube videos of these. There's a Blaemire on eBay I might get.
