You're welcome! Verlander pitched one to remember last night, and I hate Gary Sanchez!

No mention of the name of the shop in the CL post. Is this Ventura Music in Studio City? Looks like an impressive vintage inventory.

The Yankees relief corps pitched one to remember, after an impressive 7 pitch inning by starter Jordan Montgomery.

And Sanchez is a beast, love him!!!

Oh, and Judge was the real MVP! LoLoLoLo

Yes, this series is looking like a repeat of last October so far.

Oh, drums....

Man, those look like possibly old movie props? Great looking kits!

Yes Verlander pitched excellent with 14 k's (Yankee killer) but yes Yankees pitching combined got 13 k's not too shabby. Like I said great series. Oh, Native New Yawker here, I bleed pinstripes, lol.

If I was in L.A. I wouldn't be on my laptop right now. I'd love to know the snares that are available. I do see two vintage mics (pic #3) one looks to be a 50's Unidyne (Elvis mic).

McHair303 sorry just says Studio City.

Cool story: I have an original 55 Unidyne, given to me by a fantastic fiddle player & singer I used to work with back in the 80s (RIP Robbie) & I was able to find a plug that fit it (it was different from modern XLRs) & make a short cable for it, but it didn't work.

Fast forward to about 10 years ago, I'm having my annual party & jam, my broker & his GF are here & she says "My nephew works for Shure, let me have that mic & he'll fix it!"

I was a little apprehensive, but as I was well into the whiskey at that point I gave it to her.

About 3-4 weeks later I get a box from Shure & inside was the 55, along with the original parts, they'd put a new SM-58 capsule in it, no charge & it works perfectly :)

Wow so you basically have a new 50's mic! I also have one I got with a kit I bought from an 89 year old drummer. Unfortunately he beat the heck out of it. It works but it is uuuuugly.
