Best way to fix a small crack in wrap?

Loading...

Greetings,

I recently got an MIJ kit that had some wrap cracking around the original Cymbal L-Arm holder. I replaced the original L-arm bracket with a Ludwig bracket (I don't trust anything without an eyebolt when it comes to a cymbal L-arm) and that covers most of the crack, but there is still a 1/2" or so of crack showing. I just want to keep the crack from spreading, or from tearing further if it happens to catch on something.

What's the best way to accomplish this? The crack is not very wide; there is just a sliver of wood showing through underneath.

Thanks,

V

Counter-top Seam Sealer, match the base color of the wrap and nobody will be able to find the repair later.

You may also be able to remove a lug and see if you can salvage a piece of wrap from there? Bass drum lug may be bigger?

Thanks John! I had not heard of that product before. Reasonably priced as well!
