I like my Ghost pedal for vintage...Bought my first one earlier this year and I instantly liked the feel to it...
For not so vintage, I like my Tama-Camco strap drive...For my double pedal, I like my Gibraltar Prowlers...
Cheers

There is only one great vintage pedal and yes it is the "speed king" of course it is only my opinion.... :)Walking
Lacen pedal is my vote... Smooth and fast too..
Just bought this pedal, which seems to be a later model Swivomatic, or possibly a Supreme. The base is from a Supreme, but I've never seen this footboard and heel plate combination. Usually, the split/hinged footboard has the Rogers logo, whereas the "one piece " footboard doesn't. This one seems to be a combination of both types. There are also some parts that seem to be custom made. Maybe a prototype of some sort?
Any input would be appreciated.
50 years ago I bought my Rogers kit with the Swivomatic pedal. A number of years ago I broke it down completely and replaced the copper ferrule with the originally offered Roller bearings and installed a NOS spring. Now it works better than when I first got it.
I also have collected all the parts necessary to restore a rare, 1st generation, #395 Swivomatic solid-footboard, which were only made for about the first 2 years (as near as I can tell). I feel that many of Rogers early innovations were over engineered, had to be redesigned for easier production.
Other than that, I also love the feel of my Oaklawn Camco, which just feels comfortable to play.
